SEE WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT THAN EVERYTHING ELSE.
Founded in 2021 by former NHL player Lubos Bartecko, The Athletes Compound was born from a deep passion for unlocking athletic potential and shaping champions, both on and off the field.
At the heart of The Athletes Compound lies a relentless commitment to our core values: Discipline, Consistency, Excellence, and Brotherhood. Discipline fuels our structured approach, instilling the habits necessary for success. Consistency ensures sustained growth, pushing athletes beyond temporary achievements to lasting mastery. Excellence drives everything we do, from meticulous physical testing to tailored performance programs, pushing boundaries and setting new standards. Brotherhood binds us together, fostering an environment where athletes support each other, share triumphs, and overcome challenges collectively.
As a high-performance coach and former pro hockey player, Lubos has spent decades in locker rooms, weight rooms, rinks, and fields. He saw what worked, what didn’t, and what was missing:
A place where athletes aren’t just run through workouts—they’re understood, assessed, and developed with purpose.
Too many young athletes are trained with cookie-cutter programs. At The Athletes Compound, we flipped the script. We test everything—force plates, isometric strength, jump mechanics, movement efficiency, speed output, and more. That gives us a roadmap for every athlete that walks through our doors.
This isn’t a gym. It’s a training lab, a coaching hub, and a grind zone for athletes who want more.
We’ve got the tech—force plates, Tendo units, kBox flywheels, recovery systems, and cognitive tools. But it’s not about the tools—it’s about how we use them to build smarter, faster, stronger athletes.
Every session is led by high-performance coaches who get it—because we’ve lived it. This place is built by athletes, for athletes.
No fluff. No ego. Just effort, accountability, and results. We train with purpose. We compete with heart. And we recover like professionals. The Athletes Compound isn’t just a gym—it’s where you train to separate yourself.
